B. The Application Process for Trainers Program 2012
GUIDE FOR APPLICANTS:
Stage 1: You apply by submitting your application to your Country Application Coordinator (CAC). Email your application letter, picture and biography (see below for details) to your CAC no later than July 1st 2011. Please see last page for WAC contact information.
Your Application:
1. Write a letter of one page or less including:
1.1. Your background – experience, training, skills and interests.
1.2. Why do you feel is true for you to become a PoV trainer and join this team?
Please speak from your heart. Once you have all your pre-requisite, this is by far the most important section of your application form.
2. On a separate page summarise your PoV studies, including when, with whom and where you completed your 100 days, and list all the PoV books you have read. In order to apply, you must have completed teaching SOLO the “Steps to Leadership” program. Please state when and where you have taught “Steps to Leadership” and with at least 4 participants.
3. Also, please list the long training you have attended or plan to attend in 2011.

Stage 2: Your application will then be sent to all Trainers from your region for feedback. A 30-minute interview in person or by phone will be scheduled for you with your local Master Trainer. In this interview you will be evaluated on your current foundation and strengths in the above competencies. You will discuss your application letter, receive feedback from local Trainers and the interviewer, and get recommendations for your next step.
Stage 3: If your application is accepted at the local level, your CAC will present your application to the Psychology of Vision Steering Committee (SC). Currently the SC includes Chuck and Lency Spezzano, Jeff Allen, Hiromi and Hideaki Kurihara, Julie Wookey and Francine Girard.
Stage 4: The Steering Committee will make final selections and you will be advised as soon as possible (no later than September 30th 2011) as to whether or not you are invited into the program.
If your application is declined: SC members will be given full disclosure, including all feedback from Trainers, and you will be able to discuss a course of action on how to improve over the next year.
